Unitarian Church Says Stop Trump Shaming and #SaySomethingNiceAboutTrump on Twitter

NiceTrumpRepresentatives for the Unitarian Church feel that supporters of presidential candidate Donald Trump have suffered enough hateful attacks on social media and in the press and are begging for a cease fire and are promoting a #SaySomethingNiceAboutTrump Twitter campaign to ease the tension. eotmb
Rev. Ronnie Wundlicher, pastor at a Dearborn, MI Unitarian church said, “things have gotten ugly. We would not allow this level of focused anger on any other group. We do not tolerate slut-shaming, body-shaming or sexual orientation-shaming but somehow if some, poor, misguided soul chooses to say they support Donald Trump all of a sudden it is okay to mock and insult that person. That is not okay and it must stop. Just because you don’t agree with their lifestyle choice doesn’t give you permission to belittle them. We are already divided enough. Let’s stop, breathe and realize that Trump supporters are people too and extend an olive branch. Say something nice about Trump. It only takes a moment and it doesn’t have to be anything that endorses his policies or political positions. For instance how about a Tweet like ‘I’ve never seen @realDonaldTrump wet himself on stage. #SaySomethingNiceAboutTrump’ or ‘I may not agree with his position on foreign policy but his pants always seem neatly pressed. #SaySomethingNiceAboutTrump’. Was that so hard?2kbhg

  1. Donald Trump is the only person who can make this country WHOLE again and get ahead of the ball in areas of LEGAL immigration, exploding US budget, improved HEALTH (not just “healthcare”-which is deplorable in the US), and Common Sense! I’m looking forward (for a change) to the next 4 years!
