Silcon Valley Shocker – Friendster and MySpace Side With FBI in Encryption Battle

11751818_10207191045319700_3358592203531154575_nIgnoring the lead of their tech rivals at Microsoft, Google, Facebook, Twitter, Airbnb, eBay, LinkedIn, Square, Atlassian, Auttomatic, Cloudflare, GitHub, Kickstarter, Mapbox, Meetup, Reddit, Squarespace, Twilio, and Wickr social media pioneers Friendster and MySpace have informed the FBI that they are willing to share any and all dataof any of its remaining users so long as each member of the bureau creates an account and logs in at least once a week.

This is in stark contrast to those backing Apple’s assertion that the FBI’s use of the All Writs Act to force Apple to assist the government unlock the iPhone used by one of the San Bernardino shooter is both unprecedented and dangerous.
