NBA commissioner Adam Silver announced that the league will honor the NBA All-Kardashian Team in a halftime ceremony at Sunday’s NBA All-Star Game. “We want to thank some of these great and average athletes who unlaced their sneakers and braved the boudoir of one or more of the Kardashians.,” Silver told a room of reporters before the annual All-Star Weekend Kickoff.
“We want to showcase their bravery for willingly risking their mental and sexual health to expose the NBA to new audiences; places we generally do not get much attention like the pages of People magazine and to viewers of E! Entertainment Television.
Millions watch their various reality shows and know the Kardashians have sampled the charms of athletes from nearly every sport, with the notable exception of hockey, and have time and time and time again choose our NBA Superstars to share not only their bed but the world stage that is their vapidexistences. This continued synergy between the Kardashian empire and the hardwood tells their viewers that our athletes are what make the NBA the premier league in all of professional sport.”
The starting five for this dream lineup includes Kardasian veterans Kris Humphreys, Lamar Odom, James Harden, Chandler Parsons and Rashad McCants with coach/player Rick Fox rounding out the first 6 selections. Caitlyn Jenner, formerly of ABC Sports and Kris Jenner, will be the honorary sideline reporter and Kayne West will sing the National Anthem at halftime, despite the national anthem already having been performed before the actual game. E! Entertainment News will be covering the selection process for the rest of the team.
