LOS ANGELES, CA – The Los Angeles Philharmonic Orchestra will bring the magic of the original summer blockbuster movie, Jaws, to Disney Hall this month. The concert which will feature the movie playing behind the orchestra while they perform the classic John Williams soundtrack live to the on-screen action. Over 2,000 tickets were made available and they sold out in minutes on-line and a second performance was hastily added that sold out but wasn’t as good as the first. Regardless a lazy third, 3-D performance and fourth really disappointing and implausible performance were added to cash in.
Conductor Fred Simpleton said “Despite the disappointing follow up performances this is just a tremendous opportunity to expose fans of the Jaws franchise to the performing arts and classical music even if it is just 5 notes at a time.”
