Showdowns in Georgia and Florida pitting black Democratic candidates against white Republicans supported by President Donald Trump headline the three dozen governors' races being contested in Tuesday's USA elections.
The contest is so intense that early voting has approached the overall number of ballots cast in the governor's race four years ago.
