Hundreds of community members gathered outside an elementary school in Wisconsin to remember three Girl Scouts and a parent who were killed in a hit-and-run crash.
Police say that after Treu hit the group of Scouts, he sped off, fleeing the scene in his pickup truck.
The driver, 21-year-old Colten Treu, later surrendered to authorities after police launched a search for the vehicle. He is being held on 13 possible charges: four counts of homicide by negligent operation of a vehicle, four counts of homicide by intoxicated use of a vehicle, four counts of hit-and-run involving death and one count hit-and-run involving great bodily harm.

The girls were fourth-graders and members of Troop 3055 in nearby Chippewa Falls, about 90 miles (145 kilometers) east of Minneapolis.
The surviving girl was hospitalized in Rochester in critical condition.
They were all wearing bright lime-green safety vests and were accompanied by several adults at the time.
