Newton-John says she was told previous year she had cancer at the base of her spine, and she's been treating it since by completely cutting sugar out of her diet, as well as with natural remedies and "modern" meds, including cannabis oil as a pain reliever, per the Independent.
Revealing she is continuing to fight her battle, she added: "I am one of millions in this journey".
When asked whether she was anxious about the cancer, she defiantly responded: "I believe I will win over it, and that's my goal". She said she hopes medicinal marijuana will soon become legal in her home country of Australia.
Newton-John was first diagnosed with breast cancer in 1992, undergoing a partial mastectomy and reconstruction.
She first confirmed at the end of May past year that she is battling the insidious disease again.
