"If you or members of your family experience any unusual, unexplained physical symptoms of events, auditory or sensory phenomena. please contact your health care provider", the alert said.

The alert, posted on the department's website, said those who suspected they had such symptoms should not try to locate the source of any "unidentified auditory sensation" and should seek medical care as soon as possible. "As a result of the screening process so far, the Department has sent a number of individuals for further evaluation and a comprehensive assessment of their symptoms and findings in the United States".
The nationwide alert advises USA personnel to contact a doctor if they experience unusual or unexplained physical symptoms.
