A surveillance helicopter spotted the wreckage of the Cessna plane belonging to the FlySAX airline near the town of Njabini on the edge of the Aberdares mountain range early Thursday morning.
A search for a small passenger plane that disappeared in Kenya on Tuesday was called off for the evening but will resume at dawn, Kenyan aviation authorities said late on Tuesday.

A media outlet in Kenya, the Daily Nation reports that the two pilots were reported to be experienced and it is feared the aircraft flew into bad weather over Aberdare forest, 60-kilometres from its destination.
