"Double Standard!" Trump said in a Twitter post Thursday.
Tom Arnold has been busy lashing out at ex-wife Roseanne Barr and President Donald Trump since ABC gave her rebooted sitcom the boot over the star's racist tweet about former Obama adviser Valerie Jarrett.
In a since-deleted overnight tweet, Barr blamed a dose of Ambien for the incendiary tweet in which she likened Valerie Jarrett, an African American former White House aide, to an ape. "I begged 4 ppls jobs", she wrote.
Then 25 minutes after the initial tweet, Barr followed up with: "He said: what were you thinking when you did this?" But ABC said it was cancelling the show, condemning her "abhorrent, repugnant" tweet, which was "inconsistent with our values".
Barr tweeted Thursday that she asked "God2 help me use this bad experience 2 move in2 a better place where I can be more useful to help suffering people who are homeless battered & hopeless in this world, everywhere".

Roseanne Barr - the person - deserved the punishment received for her racist comments. Responding to Fishman's statement on Wednesday, Barr tweeted, "I created the platform for that inclusivity and you know it. ME".
In the clip, both Roseanne and Trump praised Moore's 1989 documentary Roger and Me, about the downfall of Flint, Michigan following General Motors' closing of several plants in the company town. "I mistakenly thought she was white", she wrote, a day after she said, "i thought she was saudi [sic]". "I've been up there times already, and if I didn't get one I'm not going to get one". The source made it clear that everyone involved knows it's a long shot to get the series back on air.
"These [are] the four steps in repentence: admitting you were wrong, making restitution, asking forgiveness from those u have hurt & at last, cracking open your heart in deep sorrow and remorse, where tears flow", she continued. On her end, Roseanne has opted to blame Ambien for her behavior, but otherwise expressing regret over her actions. Please take a breath and remember that mental health issues are real.
Caputo is the chief marketing officer for the start-up and thinks the time is right to bring the sitcom on board given that the show got the ax from ABC because of Barr's racist comments. Some members of the cast may still receive compensation for the 2018-2019 primetime season, despite the fact that there's no script in the works and no episodes have been filmed.
