Oscar Robertson was presented with the NBA's 2018 Lifetime Achievement Award. He bested 4-time MVP LeBron James and Defensive Player of the Year candidate Anthony Davis in the MVP shortlist. Additionally, for the first time in his future Hall of Fame career, he played all 82 regular-season games. He finished fourth in the voting last season. The Thunder had all three players back in 2012, before they were even 25 years old, before sending Harden to the Rockets in a trade before the following season.
He led the league in scoring, 3-pointers and 50-point games with four while helping the Rockets to an NBA-leading 65 wins. That effort earned him consideration for the award.
