While Fallout 76 looks similar to Fallout 4 graphically, the trailer seems to indicate that this will not be a traditional single-player experience.
Here's what Bethesda has posted officially about their E3 conference, writing: "Save the date!" Entitled "Fallout 76", the trailer reveals little concrete information about the game. A character donning a blue vault suit that equips a Pip-Boy also makes an appearance.
It is likely the game will be created using the Fallout 4 engine, much like Fallout: New Vegas was based on Fallout 3, even though it was an entirely separate game.
Vault 76, where the game is set, is understood to be a "control vault" with about 500 people living in it.
Other details of the project we prepared in a previous article, including those relating to the Asylum 76, which is fleetingly mentioned in the previous numbered installments of the series.
Fallout 76 is reportedly in development at both Bethesda Game Studios' main office and their new branch in Austin, Texas. There are no insane weapons or tank-like power suits shown in Vault 76; instead, there are green trees, dinner tables set up with a morning breakfast, and a children's room.

UPDATE 2: according to a press release, Fallout 76 will release on PS4, Xbox One, and PC. The vault doors were supposed to be opened 20 years after any nuclear war, which would have them opening in 2097.
