Avengers: Infinity War is the biggest movie in the world, at the time of this writing it has grossed $502 million in the United States and $1,291 billion worldwide. Especially with huge releases like Solo and Deadpool 2 on the way. In this case, rival studios avoided Avengers as much as possible. The Melissa McCarthy-led, back-to-college comedy "Life of the Party" beat "Breaking In", a thriller about a mom battling a home invasion. Black Panther was a surprise box-office juggernaut and the highly anticipated Avengers: Infinity War has outdone its already larger than life expectations.
Life of the Party is the third collaboration between McCarthy and her husband, Ben Falcone.
It is the 21st movie in Korean cinema to sell 10 million or more tickets, and the fifth foreign movie to do so.

While Avengers: Infinity War may not have appealed to Mr Bachchan, the film has earned over Rs 200 crore at the Indian box-office to become the only Hollywood project to achieve the feat.
Rounding out the top five this weekend are Lionsgate and MGM's rom-com remake Overboard, with about $10.1 million, and Paramount's silently spooky horror hit A Quiet Place, with about $6.4 million. The film also enjoyed a solid weekend internationally where it brought in $2.8 million from 55 markets as it passed $100 million internationally with releases in China, France and Japan still to go. And that's without such major markets as China, France and Japan, where it has yet to open.
