Canberra's Manuka Oval and the new Perth Stadium will host Test matches for the first time, while the Gold Coast's Metricon Stadium will host a Twenty20 fixture between Australia and South Africa.
Australia's worldwide schedule will begin with a three-match ODI series against South Africa from November 4 to 11 before the two sides head into the one-off T20I match on November 17 on the Gold Coast, which is the first-ever global game at the Metricon Stadium.
"The CoA spoke to Ravi Shastri on April 12 and Shastri categorically mentioned that he has consulted with the team and the team is not ready to play pink-ball cricket just now".
The powerful Board of Control for Cricket in India has been opposed to the day-night Test innovation started by Australia in 2015. "So a question of playing a day-night Test match in Adelaide just doesn't arise", a CoA member told The Indian Express.
India will tour Down Under in the winter (Australian summer) and the first Test of the four-match series is scheduled to be played in Adelaide from December 6.
Also, the team management has set its sights on the next year's World Cup and doesn't want to go into any sort of experiment before the quadrennial showpiece.

Coalition strike 'kills dozens' of Houthi militants in new blow

India is going to start their Test campaign against Australia in Adelaide, which also happens to be one of the favorite stadiums of India to play outside the country.
"It's a summer which will contain plenty of high-quality cricket and some exciting new additions to the Australian cricket calendar", Cricket Australia chief executive James Sutherland said.
Adelaide will host two of six One Day Internationals to be played by the men's side: against South Africa on November 9 and India on January 15.
About Canberra hosting a Test for the very first time, Sutherland said: "We look forward to giving cricket fans in the nation's capital the opportunity to see elite cricket in action in the Test format for the first time".
I hope so. Of the top eight or nine teams, it's only Bangladesh and India that haven't committed and I've always said it is part of the future of Test cricket.
However, Australian men's global summer will start at Perth Stadium with an ODI between Australia and South Africa on November 4.
The newly built Perth Stadium will make its debut as a Test venue when it hosts the second Test.
