MICROSOFT HAS confirmed rumours that its stripped-down UI will now be a "mode" rather than a separate operating system. According to last month's heard claims, those operating Windows 10 Home in S Mode would be able to upgrade to the full-fat version of the operating system for no cost.

We'll have to wait and see if Microsoft is keeping 10S mode exactly the same as Windows 10 S in terms of restrictions, or has tweaked them in some way.
Citing new data from the United Kingdom -based research consultancy Futuresource, Microsoft yesterday also highlighted the growing use of Windows 10 devices in K-12 education. The big problem is that the control panels in Windows 10 Home and Pro don't allow you to disable all of Microsoft's data collection (such as telemetry and diagnostic data).
