DISGRACED YouTube star Logan Paul has caused fresh anger after tasering a RAT in a video and encouraging viewers to carry out the risky Tide Pod challenge - leading YouTube to suspend adverts on his page.
YouTube has decided after witnessing the "pattern of behavior" of youtuber Logan Paul to drop advertising on his channels. It temporarily suspended advertising on Paul's YouTube Channels, deeming the content - and a joking reference to taking the "Tide Pod Challenge" - as unsuitable for brands.
"This is not a decision we made lightly", a YouTube rep told The Washington Post. And, at the time, YouTube simply removed Paul's channel from its Google Preferred program, which highlights the top channels on YouTube that are safe for advertisers, and said it was looking into ways of preventing videos like that from surfacing on the site.
Logan Paul was already under fire for a video that was insensitive to suicide victims.
Paul has yet to comment on the latest scandal. And he reportedly tweeted "swallowing 1 tide pod per retweet" on the same day, in reference to the unsafe Tide Pod challenge, in which people record themselves eating detergent packets and post the videos to social media. In a tweet sent overnight, the company said the temporary suspension was made following Paul's "recent pattern of behavior".

On top of that, Orrego-Savala has also been hit with a federal charge for illegally reentering the country after being deported . Orrego-Savala does not now have an attorney, but one will be appointed before Wednesday morning's initial hearing.
He has also tried to monetise at least one video that violates the platform's advertiser-friendly guidelines, though it was unclear which one. It will also reserve the right to stop recommending a channel's videos across its network if the channel is seen as harmful to the YouTube community.
Paul does have other revenue streams, however, such as his merchandise line which is quite popular amongst his millions of fans.
Now, just a week after his return and a month after the Suicide Forest video, Paul is back to his disgusting antics.
Paul apologized for the "mistake", and also stepped away from the platform for some time to reportedly do some soul searching.
It is not known how much the decision to suspend the adverts will cost Paul. Those include shutting off ad support, deleting YouTube Original videos by the creator and barring channels from being able to be recommended or put on its home page. "You either love me, or you hate me", he said.
