Now, Nash is set to become a member of the Bruins.

The Boston Bruins bolstered their chances of contending for the Stanley Cup with a bold move, acquiring Rick Nash from the New York Rangers a day before the National Hockey League trade deadline.

The B's have officially acquired the veteran winger from the New York Rangers for Ryan Spooner, Matt Beleskey, defensive prospect Ryan Lindgren, and a first-round pick in the 2018 NHL Draft.

At first glance, it does appear the Bruins gave up a lot for Nash. Let's take a look at what the trade looks like. Nash was traded to the Rangers before the 2012-13 season, posting 145 goals and 252 points in 375 games over six seasons on Broadway. Spooner has been on the trade block for some time now, and his movement comes as no surprise. Nash contributes for each team that he plays for.

There was also no room for Spooner as anything more than an extra part if he did remain on the Bruins after the Nash deal with his spot gone on the second line, and no appetite from the B's to break up third or fourth lines that have been very good for them this season.

Now we step into the unpredictable section. Lindgren was selected by Boston in the second round of the 2016 draft and now is playing his sophomore season at Minnesota. He is a left-handed defensive prospect from the University of Minnesota with top 4 defensive potential. Lindgren is a solid defenseman prospect, but he's not worth worrying about losing. Trying to get my timing back, try to get my legs under me.

Arguably the most valuable piece of the deal, however, would be the 2018 first-round selection. He most likely isn't apart of the Rangers' future. In my opinion, this is the only true loss of the trade. In return for the trade, the Rangers will eat half of Nash's 7.9 million dollar contract.

Kulsoom Nawaz to be made new PML-N president
He said that under ECP rules and regulations, there was no room for changing the affiliation of a candidate. The postponement of elections was not considered viable for the democratic process in the country.

When his time in NY ended with the 1975-76 season, Ratelle left his stamp on the franchise, ranking second in goals, assists and points in addition to a Bill Masterton Trophy, Lady Byng Trophy, a Ted Lindsay Award and four All-Star games.

If Boston wants to include Beleskey and/or have NY eat a ton of cap space, then a first rounder must be involved and the names listed by McKenzie improved.

"It was unbelievable", Nash said. He's no Patrice Bergeron on defense, but he plays hard and has above average stick work.

Nash, expected to play on the Bruins' second line with David Krejci and Jake DeBrusk, will be available for Sunday's game in Buffalo.

His debut may be sooner than you think. "I wouldn't trade it for anything".

He now has seven points (1 G, 6 A) in 33 games for Minnesota, but that isn't his game. They lost a first-round pick but have shown an ability to draft well in the later rounds and to lure college free agents. We're going to miss his creativity and certainly on the power play.
