Donald Trump has aced a test on his mental health - likely putting to rest days of Washington political gossip.
The event titled "A Conversation with Women of America", saw more than a dozen top White House officials in attendance, including Ivanka Trump, the president's daughter and senior adviser, Communications Firector Hope Hicks, Press Secretary Sarah Sanders and Counselor to the President Kellyanne Conway.
Trump also denied making the statements attributed to him, but avoided the details of what he did or did not say.
But then the Maryland Democrat then was more direct, saying, "I'm saying what he does is racist".
The Republican has said the comments "weren't made" and that he's not a racist. "Quite frankly, I got pretty passionate and I ran a little hot, too".
