Mad Catz' return can be seen more as a revolution than a revival, if you're a longtime fan.
Mad Catz have today unveiled that they're back after becoming bankrupt in April 2017, and they've got their claws out with new management and new products as we enter 2018.
Mad Catz did not go into a lot of details about its new gear, saying it will announce more specs and potentially other upcoming products at CES. More information about each of the new lines of Mad Catz products can be found on their site, so interested players have plenty of time between now and this year's CES to decide of they want to become customers again.

Mad Catz waved goodbye last March, but apparently, that was not the end of the story for the gaming peripherals company. This unique mouse carries on with the full-on adjustability and outlandish styling the series is known for, but adds in continual wireless power from an included high-end mousepad called G.L.I.D.E., made for ease of use and precision. Mad Catz has been a permanent fixture in gaming for nearly three decades and we firmly believe it's best days lie ahead. But now Mad Catz is back, and with it the flawless opportunity for a joke about how many lives it has.
Pre-CES PR clues led us to suspect that the brand was about to re-emerge, and just ahead of the massive tradeshow next week, both UberStrategist and Little Big PR announced this morning that Mad Catz is back.
KitGuru Says: It was a sad day when Mad Catz filed for bankruptcy but it looks like the peripheral maker has found its second life.
