The flight took off just after midnight from Auckland on January 1 before landing in Hawaii in the morning of December 31. Surprised? Don't be - it's neither a curious case of time travel nor the famed time-turner at play.
The fun fact drew flight-tracking website FlightRadar24 to tweet: "Time travel is possible!".
It's not so complicated and apparently very common. On the globe, Auckland is ahead of Honolulu by 23 hours.
