Filipinos will be treated to spectacular celestial shows this month with the appearance of a blue moon and supermoons, meteor showers and a lunar eclipse, according to the Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa). For some parts of Asia, including India, the eclipse will already be under way as the moon rises.
The eclipse will take place during the middle of the night, and the Pacific Ocean will be turned toward the moon at the time. Unlike the solar eclipse that occurred in 2017, however, this eclipse will not be visible in the continental United States but in central and eastern Asia, Indonesia, New Zealand and Australia.
Alaska, Hawaii and parts of western US will experience the full eclipse. Moonset will intervene for the rest of North and Central America, however.
The total eclipse will begin at 8.51pm and end at 10.08pm, while the partial eclipse will end at 11.11pm.

Besides, the moon on January 31 will appear bigger and brighter as it will be a super moon.
Following the two full moons occurring in January, the calendar month of February will have no full moon. That doesn't actually mean it will look any different - but rather that it's the second time there's been a full moon in a month. To answer that question, we consulted the reference book Canon of Lunar Eclipses, 1500 B.C. - A.D. "Often cast in a reddish hue because of the way the atmosphere bends the light, totally eclipsed moons are sometimes called 'blood moons'".
Mark the date, the blood moon or blue supermoon is coming in a rare lunar event which happens only every 150 years. The moon is responsible for providing a rhythm to the tidal waves on the surface of the Earth even when it is located at a distance of 385,000km from our planet.
How unusual are Blue Moon eclipses?
Three separate celestial events will occur simultaneously that night, resulting in what some are calling a super blue blood moon eclipse.
